How do I stop ordinary members from adding polls?

Normally in a space, any member can add a poll to a discussion message. However, this may not always be appropriate or you may want to have polls first approved by a moderator to make sure they are suitable for publication.

To do either of these, in the space first go to Settings and then the Advanced settings tab. You then have two choices:

• To stop ordinary members from adding polls, choose the Resource permissions option and then the Poll resource type. For Group member uncheck the Add permission. You might instead want to give this to the Group administrator and Group moderator roles. Finally select the Save button.
• To have polls approved by a group administrator or moderator, choose the Poll workflow option. In the Roles that don't require moderation setting uncheck the Group member option. Now select the Save button.
