It's likely that there will be some groups that you care a lot about and others where you might have less interest, perhaps because they are less relevant to your everyday work. Because of this you might want to control what email you get from different groups. For example, you might want to get an email from one group whenever there is a new discussion message, but for another you only want a weekly email newsletter of what's new.
Jiglu controls your email over three preferences pages.
- Discussion email controls which groups you get email discussion messages from. For each group you usually have a choice between live (messages as they are published), digest (a bundle of messages typically once a day) or no email.
- Newsletters controls which newsletters you get from each group and whether or not you get the daily summary newsletter telling you about everything new. Groups may have different newsletters, with content for different audiences and different frequencies of publication.
- Notifications controls which notifications of new tasks you get emailed. You can also opt to turn off all emailed notifications, for example if you are using browser notifications instead.
To go to these pages click on the drop-down menu button at the top right of the page and choose the My preferences option.
