How can I transfer my Yahoo! Group?

You can transfer the messages from a Yahoo! group to Jiglu, using the attached utility.

I can claim almost no credit for program whatsoever, apart from packaging it up (It's a perl script originally). Windows only, but anyone who wants it on a different OS, I can explain how.

For a list of options, just run it at the command line, or plunge straight in eg yahoo2mbox.exe Biodiesel --user=jhcontra --pass=cgchijlkdj

Yahoo has a limit on the amount of e-mail you can download in a day, so it may take a few days (this script should detect it the daily limit. You can restart the process 24 hours later by adding --resume to the command line you used previously)

Then send the resulting file to ..., with the name of the space you have set up, and give me some time to process it! You have to promise to bring all your users as well, though :-)
