How do I get pictures on my Home Page?

You may have seen other people's pages and wondered how they get pictures and other content onto their Home Page.  I have done it myself on my own blog.

The process is pretty straighforward.  It's shown visually in this video, but for the quick text version:

First, create a Knowledge entry containing the picture/text you want on the home page.  Click the Knowledge tab, and then New knowledge entry.  To attach a picture, click "Browse" to select it, and "Attach File" to upload it.  Preview and Submit in the usual way.

To get it on the front page, you need to visit, Settings -> Home Page . Click "Add Section". Select "Inline Knowledge Entry"

Put a * in the Search box

Click Search

Select the right Knowledge entry and name it

Click "Save"

Drag and drop the entry to where you want it to appear on the page

Click "Save".
