adding tags

I keep adding tags through the manage my tag function….some show up but most don't. How do I suggeest a spider re-visit?> Thanks!

Hi John.
We can request a spider re-visit ourselves, however there is no need to in this instance, as any new tags that you add will be linked automatically if they can be (so re-spidering wont actually make any difference).
There are several reasons why some of the tags you created have not been linked to any blog posts. One of them is because when the phrase appears in the articles, it appears as a http link. So the system extracts them as links rather than tags. Examples of this are the tag 'Wizard of Oz' and 'scanner' tags.
Other tags are recognised as contact names first, for example the tag 'Brian ...' and 'Orlando'. (Although Orlando is more likely to be wanted as a tag rather than a person, so I will look into that one).
Finally 'Owner's Locker' and 'start-up' have not been linked because of how our text parsing works. Unfortunately there is no easy fix to this, but it is something we will look into as we continue to improve how the tagging works.
I hope that has at least helped answer why some of the tags have not appeared in articles you were expecting them to. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding this.
