Jiglu support

I've written a bit more about it over on the blog (which for those of you who haven't ventured off e-mail and onto the site yet, has more of Steve's jaunty letters in the banner.)

Any references anywhere to yourspace.mailspaces.com or ... will still work just fine, so apologies to anyone who has links or literature with the old name in (I cringed just a little when I read Graham's mail), but the only saving grace is that it all still works fine, and redirects to Jiglu.

It is our intention to become the default community (not just group) service. A bold claim. To do that, we have to be attuned to the realities of the commercial web, and at the moment, it's all about wikis and stuff like that (even though Yahoo groups gets one out of every four internet users every day, and the wikis get a fraction of that). So we have to emphasise everything we're good at, not just the e-mail element, so we have to bring out the wiki, the tags, the automatic knowledge extraction and linking, the cross-space transfer etc etc.

MailSpaces lives on as the name for the enterprise product (so if you want the system at the office, just e-mail our sales team at ...), but on the consumer side, we've gone all jaunty, it is true.

If you can bear to use the name Jiglu, please tell your friends all about us. Every little helps, as they say. We're still the same bunch of friendly (and as you've probably gathered, slightly eccentric) people who ran MailSpaces, and will continue to be. Steve and I are spending quite a lot of our time on the West Coast at the moment, but will continue to support you along with Pete and Graham, (although sometimes with a hint of jet lag).

You'll know things are seriously wrong when we start trying to flog you "Do you Jiglu?" badges (I should you that Steve's already ordered a couple of T-shirts with the logo on)

You may also like to know that no developers were harmed during the course of the rebranding, and that no-one took anything stronger than Ibuprofen…
